Yay! Halloween is coming!

Life has been pretty hectic, but Bobby has been having the time of his life growing big and strong. He went to the pediatrician today and weighs 15 pounds (97 percentile), his head and length are in the 75th percentile. He also got 4 shots and one oral vaccine : ( He says that they hurted his feelings. Dr Conley says he is doing everything he's supposed to. Lifting his head when he is on his belly, grasping his hands together and putting them in his mouth, smiling, and cooing. It doesn't seem like a big deal but he has had those mastered for sometime now! Bobby also saw a nice man named Dr Cerniglia who said that Bobby has special kidneys. The left kidney has an extra tube (not a big deal he said). His right kidney is dilated so Bobby has to have dye put in his bladder to see if it can hold urine where it is supposed to be or if the dye will move up to the kidneys ( that's called reflux) If Bobby has reflux he will have to have a low dose of antibiotics until the problem is resolved because when urine goes back into the kidneys there is a chance of infection. He may have to be on antibiotics for years which is very common with reflux. This problem is the most common male congenital problem known. If the dye test shows it is not reflux then we will move on to a kidney xray to see if their is a different problem of which the Dr. does not know yet. Anyhow Bobby seems to be doing great and happy life. Sorry the computer is not letting me load pictures!
